This policy establishes the rules for the use of GCAI marks, logos, and references. It ensures consistent, accurate, and trustworthy representation of certification status to the public.
Purpose
Establish the rules for the use of GCAI marks, logos and claims.
Scope
Applies to all certified clients, subcontractors, licensees, and any third parties using GCAI marks or making reference to certification.
Permitted Use
Certified clients may use GCAI marks and claims only in accordance with this policy and the Certification Claim Guidelines.
Prohibited Use
Any misleading, unauthorized, or improper use of GCAI marks or claims is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or withdrawal.
Monitoring & Enforcement
Non-compliance may lead to corrective action, public notification, suspension, or withdrawal of certification.

For GCAI (the certification body): GCAI may use the official IAS/IAF MLA Combined Mark only with a separate sublicense agreement from IAS, using the exact authorized artwork, and only for communications related to GCAI's accredited scope.

- Incorrect Claims (Examples)
- ISO-certified company.
- ISO-approved products / services.
- IAS-certified organization.
- Our entire global business is ISO certified.(Only specific entities/sites may be certified)
- ISO/IEC 27001 compliant. (Can imply certification)
Certified Scope and Legal Entity
- Use the mark only for the legal entity named on the certificate.
- Use the mark only for the certified scope of activities and services.
- Do not imply certification for locations or activities that are not certified.
Artwork & Representation Requirements
- Use only official artwork provided by GCAI.
- Do not stretch, distort, re-colour or modify.
- Maintain clear space, roportion andlegibility.
- Do not combine the IAS symbol independently.
- Minimum size and resolution must be maintained.
When Certification Changes

Active
Use marks as per these guidelines. -
Scope Reduced
Update all materials to reflect the revised certified scope. -
Suspended
Stop using the mark and any promotion of certification immediately. -
Withdrawn / Expired
Remove all marks and certification claims from all materials.
Monitoring & Enforcement
- Misuse identified
- Client informed
- Correction requested
- Corrective action reviewed
- Mark usage restricted / suspended
- Certification suspended / withdrawn if required
- Public notification or legal action in serious cases
- Permitted Use
- Use the GCAI logo on websites and marketing materials that refer to your certified scope.
- State your certification status accurately and clearly.
- Reproduce the logo only in approved colors and formats.
- Link to your valid certificate or verification page.
- Prohibited Use
- Use the logo in a misleading or deceptive way.
- Suggest GCAI endorses products or services.
- Modify the logo, colors, or proportions.
- Use the logo after suspension, expiration, or withdrawal.
